WANDERLENS: Musings on water and tears

These bottles grace a small pond in an eco-house. This photo demonstrates a possibility of what to do with discarded bottles. The picture of water flowing fused with the droplets of rain that fell create a scene where one can almost here the soothing sounds of water drops.

On another sphere, the water flow also seem to be teardrops flowing and washing away the angst of living. Tears are something to be grateful for. They wash away the hurts and struggles of the moment or they unleash with them the mirth and joy at a point in time.

Living is never always easy. When dreams get dashed and prayers come up empty. When the heart cares and get constantly bruised. When trials pound a soul to pieces and even hope is elusive. When there is nothing to hold on to, tears give momentary relief.

And yet like the constant flow of water, life too goes through changing seasons. Like a tree that sheds its leaves in winter, being barren is temporary until spring sets in. When all is bleak and drought seem to overule in life, there is a ray of hope to hold on to - that spring will come.

Then maybe, the tears that have paved the way for gentle smiles, compassionate love and the blessing of comfort for a wounded heart will usher in a new day.

Flow - of water, of tears, of life. And the soothing water sound that seem to say - breathe and let go, breathe and let go.
