WANDERLENS: Banca on still waters

This porcupine has a thing with ' banca' (outrigger) on water. This picture in particular conveys a peaceful scene of a stationary banca on clear sea water. The wide expanse of blue green water hints of clarity yet the ripple of the current suggests motion towards a particular direction. The banca steadily bobs on water, moving yet staying put, not dragged by the current.

One can spend time just gazing at the horizon, staring at the banca and the water and just be. No rush, no hurry, no frenzy to do this or that or be here or there. Bliss!

Happy to have taken this shot for even as a photo, it is a reminder of those simple, priceless moments in life of doing nothing, happy to be settled in a spot and take in the beauty that surrounds. Devoid of pretenses, unhurried, relaxed and unruffled.

Life musings: Be still and know that I am God (Ps. 46:10).
