FOODOGRAPHY: Pizza Fold


The pizza fold is a twist to the traditional open faced pizza. The beauty with kitchen experiments is that most ingredients are pliable and may be shaped and formed into so many possibilities. In this case, the dough with the filling was rolled carefully then popped into the oven for some minutes.

This is a combination of ingredients that were just lying about but make for an interesting taste if churned together. The sauce to this concoction is a gumbo of olive oil, spanish sardines, capers, button mushroom and tomato sauce. Meat filling pepperoni and salami combo and laced with mozarella.

Served hot, the result was a savory taste with the combination of the sauce and melted cheese and with chunky filling to every bite.

Life musing: Never take anything for granted, not people nor objects. By themselves, they may seem insignificant but fuse them with other elements and the result can be a savory flavor. We become people with higher value because there are others who appreciate us, like us and give regard to our value as persons.
